Vatican Exhibit with Father Bob (Day Trip to Cleveland)

Join Fr. Bob in a day trip to the Vatican Exhibit in Cleveland, Ohio, on Wednesday, August 20th. The bus leaves the Church parking lot at 8:00 am and will return around 9:00 pm. Cost is $95 per person which includes motor coach transportation guide servcie, admission to all attractions, lunch buffet, taxes & all gratuities. Coffee/rest stop & evening meal stop at own expense. Information and sign up sheets are available at the Rectory.

St George's Annual Chicken Barbecue

St George's Church in West Falls is having their Annual Chicken Barbecue on Saturday, July 20 from noon - 4pm or until sold out , at 74 Old Glenwood Road.  Dinner includes Chicken by Chiavetta's, salads, roll, butter, homemade dessert & beverage.  Take-outs available.  Pre-sale tickets available, call 652-3153.  Money and Theme Baskets Raffles, Bounce House for the kids, cotton candy and snow cones too.

Knights of Columbus

Fish Donations: July

Summer Ice Cream Social

The Social Committee is hosting its Summer Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, July 9th. It's sure to be a fun evening for your family. $1.00 tickets will be sold after Mass.

The morning Mass on Friday, July 4th will be at 9:00 am. There will be no 8:00 am Mass that day.

by a Reception. Miss Gregg has served our school for 38 years, fifteen as our Principal. Let us show her our appreciation for her service, her teaching, her leadership, her interest & concern and for all that she has done for our students, families and our parish.

Night of Music

All of our parishioners are invited to attend a Night of Music, on Sunday, June 1 at 7:00 pm at Annunciation
Church, 7580 Clinton Street.
The 2nd annual Night of Music, hosted by Annunciation Church, features the
Music Ministries of Annunciation, Immaculate Conception and St. Vincent Parishes. The Annunciation Folk Group, Sunday Evening Ensemble and Children’s Choir, the Immaculate Conception Folk Group. as well as Adult and Children’s Choirs and the St. Vincent Folk Group and Men’s Choral Group will offer their renditions of new and favorite
selections meant to offer praise to the Lord. Refreshments immediately following in Selbert Hall.

Missionary Talk

Next weekend, May 24 & 25, Father Charles Dolan, CSS will speak at all of our weekend Masses on behalf of the Stigmatine Fathers and Brothers mission in the country of Thailand.
This is in accordance with the Missionary Cooperative Plan of the Diocese. There will be a second collection at all of the Masses that will help further the work of these dedicated men among the people in this far off land. We anticipate your usual, kind generosity towards the Missions.

Catholic Charities

This weekend, our parish will be participating in a Catholic Charities Weekend to help ensure that Appeal 2008 succeeds and that families will continue to be changed, ultimately improving our communities. This is another chance for anyone who has not taken the opportunity to donate to the Appeal. Every dollar counts and helps to provide programs for 160,000 children, adults families and seniors in need in our Diocese. While this is a big final push for the Appeal Catholic Charities will continue to receive donations for Appeal 2008 until June 30.

Place your donation in the collection this weekend and mark it for Catholic Charities Appeal 2008.

Religious Education News

The re-registration forms for Religious Education 2008-2009 have been sent to your home. Please be sure to send the forms to the Religious Education Office no later than June 1st. If you have child entering Grade 1 in September, please call the office (655-0067) for a New Student Registration Form.

Please join us in the 2nd annual Baby Bottle Program. It's easy! Take a bottle on Mother's Day, Sunday May 11th (one per family) and at the end of each day throw your loose change into it.
